year-old Jacob Jankowski remembers
how, as a penniless orphan, fate threw him on to
the train of the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular
Show on Earth.
Here, Jacob met Marlena and circus elephant,
Rosie; and together they experienced a world with
its own narrow, irrational rules and way of life. The
bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of
love, trust, and, ultimately, was their only hope for
survival.
