Battle of the Books Introductory Meeting

For students entering Grades 4 - 8
Interested in joining the 2022 Huron team? Join Miss Melissa and Miss Morgan at this introductory meeting for more information about the annual Battle of the Books tournament in September. Find a list of this year's book selections below. A parent/guardian should plan to accompany participants.
If you are unable to attend this introductory meeting, but would still like to participate in the Battle of the Books, please continue to register and you will be contacted with more details.

What is Battle of the Books? Participants will read the eight pre-selected books to prepare for the challenge and practice with teammates to answer questions about the books. Teams from other northern Ohio libraries then compete in a tournament-style competition held every September to battle it out in the hopes of becoming the Battle of the Book champions.
