Huron Public Library has printing, copying, scanning, and fax services available for the public.

Color Printers

The Library uses a PaperCut printing machine for payment processing that only accepts cash. If you do not have a Huron Public Library card, guest passes are available for printing and start off at 50¢ to be paid in cash as well.

Printing from Home/ Laptop/ Android Phone

Have a computer at home? Send your documents to the server before heading out to the Library to make your trip quicker! You do not need to be in the Library to send your documents to the printer with this method.

Note: This method will work for any device. If you are having trouble sending your documents to our printers using any other method, try the steps below.

Steps:

  1. Open your browser on your device and go to printing.clevnet.org
  2. Log in with library card number and pin number or guest printing card number.
    1. For library cards, the library card number is the username and your pin is the password.
    2. For guest print cards, the “cpc” number is both the username and password and the letters “cpc” should be lowercase.
  3. On the left hand bar menu, select “Web Print”.
  4. Select the green “Submit a Job” Button.
  5. Choose the printer you want to send your documents to. For HPL’s printer, type “Huron” in the search bar. You will see the options “Huron Black and White” and “Huron Color” come up. Select the option that fits your needs.
  6. Confirm the number of copies you would like of your document and hit “Upload Documents”.
  7. Select “Upload from Computer” and choose the files that you want to print from your local storage on your device.
  8. Select “Upload & Complete” in the bottom right corner.
Printing from iPhone (at the Library)

Do you have an iPhone and are you physically at the Library? You can send documents to the printer easily from your phone with the following steps.

Note: If you are having trouble sending your documents to our printers using this method, try the steps for “Printing from Home/ Laptop/ Android Phone”. The steps for that method will work on any device.

Steps:

  1. Connect to free and open “Huron Public Library Wi-Fi”.
  2. Pull up the document or photo you want to print.
  3. Select the “Print” button.
  4. Choose the printer you want to send your documents to. You will see the options “Huron Black and White” and “Huron Color”. Select the option that fits your needs.
  5. In the box that pops up, input your library card number and pin number or guest printing card number.
    1. For library cards, the library card number is the username and your pin is the password.
    2. For guest print cards, the “cpc” number is both the username and password and the letters “cpc” should be lowercase.
    3. If you are not prompted to enter this information, it may be saved in your phone already from previous printing.
  6. Make sure all other settings are as desired for your print.
    1. If printing a photo, make sure that the paper size setting is changed from a6 to Letter.
  7. Select “Print” or the Printer icon in the top right corner.

Photo Copier

The Library has a copy machine available for public use. The copy machine uses the same payment processing as print jobs and only accepts cash. If you do not have a Huron Public Library card, guest passes are available for printing and start off at 50¢ to be paid in cash as well.

Scanners

Scan one document or multiple with a variety of scanning options at the Library. There is no charge for scanning and scans can be uploaded to a computer or sent to a specific email address.

Fax Machine

Faxing is free at Huron Public Library. Faxes can also be sent to the Library for patrons to pick up.

To fax a document or pick up a fax, speak to a staff member at the circulation desk.
